IGX Repository Builder — Privacy Policy

Version 1.0.2 · Provider: Galaxy D2C Technologies · Developer: Sylvester A. Sessoms Jr., Developer / AI Engineer · Effective: October 25, 2026

This policy covers InGestX Pro Repository Builder(“IGX Repository Builder”). It is provided by Galaxy D2C Technologies (“we”, “us”).

1. Summary

Repository Builder runs on your computer. It makes no outbound network connections, includes no analytics, telemetry or advertising, does not require an account, and does not send your files or any information about you to us or to anyone else.

2. What the app does with your files

  • It reads the source folder you select and copies its files into a new repository folder and/or ZIP archive in the destination you select. Existing files and folders at the destination are never deleted or replaced.
  • Each repository contains manifest.json and BUILD_REPORT.md, which list the copied files by relative path with size, category and SHA-256 checksum.
  • If you turn on “Initialize Git”, the app runs the git program installed on your computer to create a local repository and an initial commit.

3. Data stored on your computer

In %APPDATA%\InGestX-Pro-Repository-Builder (for the Microsoft Store edition, in that app's private storage): your settings (including the connector access token and the source/destination pairs you chose to “Always allow”), the last 100 builds, the repositories you built, your custom classification rules, and a log of application start-up, connector start-up, whether a connector request was allowed or denied, and unexpected errors. This data stays on your computer and is kept when you uninstall so that a reinstall keeps your settings; you can delete the folder yourself at any time.

4. Local connector (IGX Node Base)

  • The app runs a connector that listens only on 127.0.0.1:8765, your own computer; it is not reachable from the network, and requests that do not address it locally are rejected.
  • Every request other than a status check needs the access token, and every request that would read a folder or create a repository must be approved by you in the app. Deny is the default, including when the dialog is closed.
  • The access token is shown to you only when you choose “Copy access token”. The connector pack file that the app writes for IGX Node Base contains the connector's address and actions, not the token.

5. Diagnostics

“Export diagnostic bundle” creates a file only when you click it and saves it where you choose. It contains application, Electron and Node.js versions, operating-system platform and architecture, memory and CPU core count, your non-secret settings, and the last 10 builds with folder names only. It is not sent anywhere.

6. Settings note

The option “Enable local performance telemetry” has no effect in this version: the app collects no telemetry whether it is on or off.

7. Microsoft Store

Purchases, downloads, ratings and reviews are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Microsoft provides us with aggregated, non-identifying sales and usage reports through Partner Center.

8. Children

Repository Builder is a general-purpose file utility and is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes

We will post updates to this policy on this page and change the effective date.
