IGX Knowledge Memory Core — Privacy Policy

1. Data collection and local information handling

IGX Knowledge Memory Core (installed in Windows as “InGestX Pro Knowledge Memory Core”) is an offline-first Windows desktop application engineered by Galaxy D2C Technologies. The application does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information, usage analytics or telemetry.

• No document uploads: documents you import (.txt, .md, .json,.docx, .pdf) are parsed and indexed only on your Windows device, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\KMC-WON\knowledge.sqlite3.
• No search or prompt tracking: your search queries, Knowledge Constellation graphs, Prompt Directory templates and review histories stay on your computer.
• No analytics or telemetry: the application contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising services and sends nothing to Galaxy D2C. Its knowledge engine accepts connections only from your own computer (127.0.0.1) and authenticates each request with a per-session token (X-KMC-Token).
• Spell-checking dictionaries: the built-in spell checker (part of the Chromium engine in Electron) supports English, Spanish, French and German. When Windows does not provide the dictionary for one of these languages, the spell checker may download the standard dictionary file from Google’s dictionary download service. The request retrieves a dictionary file only and contains none of your documents, searches, prompts or typed text; like any download, it reveals your device’s IP address to that service. Spell checking itself runs on your device.

2. Local storage, retention and deletion

• Your collections, indexed document snapshots, full-text search indexes, custom prompts and revision records are stored in%LOCALAPPDATA%\KMC-WON\knowledge.sqlite3. Window and interface preferences are stored in%APPDATA%\igx-knowledge-memory-core. When the app is installed from the Microsoft Store, Windows keeps these files in the app’s private package storage and removes them when you uninstall the app.
• Deleting a source or collection inside the app immediately removes its indexed text and search entries from the local database. Your original files on disk are never changed or deleted.
• You keep full control of your local vault and can back up, move or permanently delete it at any time.

3. Security controls

• The desktop shell runs with Electron contextIsolation andsandbox enabled and nodeIntegration disabled.
• The local knowledge engine accepts connections only from127.0.0.1 / localhost with a valid per-session token and enforces a strict Content Security Policy (default-src 'self').

4. Microsoft Store

Purchases, downloads and updates through the Microsoft Store are handled by Microsoft under Microsoft’s own privacy statement.
